- You are what you eat.
Classic, but so damn true. What we put in our bodies is one of the biggest contributing factor to staying in shape.
I used to be very well in shape without doing any workout whatsoever. Then, I started to slack, but didn’t notice it until a few years later.
I tried all kinds of efforts and surely did see some improvement, but I never got back to my old self, until I took a good hard look at what I was eating.
I’m not saying to go on a special diet, but maybe cut certain foods like bread, coffee, soda and sugary snacks, even when you eat them infrequently.
Running has helped me trim my body. Not only is a good for blood circulation, but it also helped me fine tune my body after I lost a bunch of wait by omitting some simple foods.
At one time – after I discovered the effects certain foods had on my body – I ran every day, even if it was for 10 minutes, and surely it had an effect on my body.
3. Stretch and push your muscles.
Before and after every run, I’d do a good stretch. This helped my muscles stay loose and prevent any injuries. It helped me feel more flexible and just better in general.
After every run and before every shower, I would do 30 pushups just to keep my upper body strength on point. This actually did a lot.
It may seem insignificant, but this paired with omitting certain foods and running already made a humongous impact.
4. Get the right mindset.
While this may seem insignificant and not important to a lot of you, you can’t expect your body to be on point if you keep focussing on the negative and keep telling yourself your out of shape.
Tell yourself you’re beautiful, know that you’ll achieve your goals and be happy with who you already are.
The internal struggle is half the battle.
5. Walk & take the stairs.
I live close to the town center, which has a library and lots of cute stores. I walk there every day.
We also don’t have an elevator, and living in an apartment, I have to take the stairs every day.
I walk out a lot, so these things end up.
If you’re used to taking the car everywhere, change it up and walk somewhere.
Maybe to a park nearby, or the store.
Doing this on a regular basis will help you get in shape really quickly.

6. Treat your skin
While weight loss is important, it’s also important to make sure you have a vibrant skin.
Find something like a natural product to rub on your skin before you go to bed. This will keep your skin fresh and healthy.
I put deep therapy hand cream on my hands every night, and I notice an incredible difference every time I do so.
While I don’t use anything on the rest of my body, I highly recommend it if you can find a healthy and organic alternative.
There are thousands of tips online on how to loose weight and look fit, and lots of them try to cut corners.
That’s not what we’re trying to do hear.
This is a long term plan, and patience is required, but I can guarantee that if you follow these tips every day, you’ll get there in no time.
