Play Pokémon on A Pokémon Emulator
It’s been around for a while, but for those of you who don’t know yet, you are now able to play any Pokémon game on your computer through an emulator, which serves as an excellent Pokémon emulator.
I myself use the OpenEMU emulator.
This emulator has the ability to play games on your computer of the following consoles:
- Atari 2600
- Game Boy
- Game Boy Advance
- Game Gear
- Neo Geo Pocket
- Nintendo (NES)
- Nintendo DS
- Sega 32X
- Sega Genesis
- Sega Master System
- Super Nintendo (SNES)
- TurboGraf-x 16
- Virtual Boy
These are all of the game consoles OpenEMU emulates and creates the ability for you to play on your computer.
Once OpenEMU is installed, I use CoolRom to find the actually games which you can than download and install into the emulator.
The emulator will then place the game under the correct console, making it easy for you to find and play the game.
There are other emulators out there that cover other consoles, but I myself love the OpenEMU emulator the best.
It allows me to play all of the Pokémon games I use to have on my Game Boy on my laptop.
You can save the game, use cheats and feel like your back in the 90’s, having a bigger screen to play your game.
This Pokémon emulator is one of the best ones out there, and it’s free.
So if you love playing Pokémon on your Game Boy back in the day, I highly recommend getting the OpenEMU emulator.
Do you use emulators? If so, I’d love to hear which ones you use and which consoles they emulate? I am having a hard time finding a Play station emulator and would love to hear if one of you has found one.
