Fiery debate has erupted between art historians and conspiracy theorists over paintings on the wall of the Syetitskhoveli Cathedral, Georgia.
The rare and controversial image shows Jesus Christ on the cross and with a crowd of people surrounding him. Amidst the crowd are little green men that one could assume are angels.
But that would depend on whose side you are – art historians or conspiracy theorists?

According to Express report, art historians, who have studied the 11th century painting, believe the strange craft were those of angels present during the crucifixion of Jesus Christ.
Well, conspiracy theorists do not agree with this position. “The mysterious art appears to be telling us that these flying saucers were present during the crucifixion. They must have been part of the story of the death of Christ,” claims conspiracy theorists on Ancient Aliens website.
Whereas the art historians believe the images represent the guardian angels that were present when Jesus was crucified, conspiracy theorists claim these were aliens.
