7 Awesome Blockbusters Every Entrepreneur Has To Watch

We've reached a new era. The "Entrepreneurial Revolution". Everyone wants to be an entrepreneur, yet only a few have what it takes to make that dream come true. There are a lot of rough patches along the way and we all know that feeling where we just want to give up and quit, yet that's when the magic will start to happen. It's been proven that perseverance pays off in the long run, and that same counts when it comes to entrepreneurship. Never give up and follow your dream. In order to help you stay motivated I've put together a list of motivational movies which will help you stay focussed and motivated along the way.

We all need motivation, daily. Motivation to get through the day and reach all of our daily goals and long term goals. Sometimes it can get pretty rough and that’s exactly when some motivational movies could come in handy. Movies have always been a great motivational tool for me. Rocky, Terminator, The Social Network, you name it. They've all made me get up out of my chair ready to take action. Let's have a look at some movies every entrepreneur has to watch at least once.

List Of Top Entrepreneurial Movies

The Pursuit Of Happyness (2006)

Never Give Up. That's what you'll learn after you've watched this movie. Will Smith does an excellent job trying to reach for the stars while being homeless with his son. Definitely one of my all time favorites.

The Wall Street (1987)

This is probably one of my favorite Wall Street movies. An all time classic. The story is about an ambitious young stockbroker, Bud Fox who does everything in his power to succeed and reach the level of success his idols have gained. He meets with Gordon Gecko and takes over his life with the ‘Greed is good’ motto in doing business. Great movie and definitely recommend you watch it!

The Social Network (2010)

I absolutely love this movie. It's the simple story of Mark Zuckerberg's pivotal moments at the beginning of the creation of Facebook. Zuckerberg himself wasn't pleased with the screening, but I absolutely loved it. It shows the early days at Harvard, how Facebook was created and briefly covers the lawsuits Zuckerberg faced after his CFO sued him.

Rocky (1976)

True classic. Underdog Balboa who gets a chance at fighting for the title. I'd say that all of his movies are great. This movie shows what what it means to be later focussed. You can beat anyone and anything if you stay focussed.

The Pirates Of Silicon Valley (1999)

All time classic about Bill Gates and Steve Jobs' accomplishments in Silicon Valley, CA.

The Wolf Of Wall Street (2013)

This is definitely one of my latest favorites. Leo DiCaprio does an excellent job portraying a wealthy trading giant who builds his empire from the ground up. Even though he didn't always follow the law, his perseverance and energy makes you want to get out of your chair and start working non stop!

Jobs (2013)

Marvelous performance by Ashton Kutcher acting as Steve Jobs while nearing his beginning years of the iPhone, covering the creation of Apple and much more.

There you have it. A great list of motivational movies. Besides these movies, I would definitely recommend watching TED videos. They never cease to impress me since each time they have a different guest speaker.

What are some of your favorite movies that inspire you? I'd love to hear about them!
